XCircuit does not [yet; I'm working on it] interface directly to a simulator.
However, the SPICE output it produces is more-or-less compatible with all
SPICE versions (you may need to hand-edit for specific versions; I'm
working on that problem, too). The ".sim" output it produces is compatible
with "irsim" (Berkeley VLSI tools).
Interactive simulation *is coming*, although my original target date of
June now seems overly optimistic.
