Hi,

I have just tried to compile the latest xcircuit3.1.16 and received the
following error message (after entering "make"):

configure: creating ./config.status
./configure: line 9631: @: command not found
make: *** [config.status] error 127

"make install" tells me this:

netlist.c: In function `parseinfo':
netlist.c:2048: error: too many arguments to function `strcat'
netlist.c:2052: error: too many arguments to function `strcat'
make[1]: *** [netlist.o] error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/Lutz/Download/xcircuit-3.1.16'
make: *** [install-recursive] error 1

"./configure" went right:

linux:/home/Lutz/Download/xcircuit-3.1.16 # ./configure

Because I could not get it right, I tried the RPM-package. It installs, but I
cannot click the top menu bar ("file" etc.), nothing happens there. I cannot
leave the line-dialogue (i.e. when I click somewhere in the schematic to draw
a line, I cannot leave this line drawing), and I cannot change colours either
(again, I cannot leave the colour-dialogue). It also crashes at times.

My system is a AMD2000+ with 512Meg RAM and SuSE 8.2 professional.

It would be great If you could help me here.

Best regards,
Lutz.
