Hi all!

I have written a tool called xclib that is supposed to help people in
creating libraries for xcircuit. It supports a creation process that is
substantially different from editing the User Library and then saving the
library via XCircuit - you design the whole library on a normal XCircuit
page, saving that page as a .ps file, with all needed symbols
automatically included by XCircuit, and later convert the .ps file to .lps
using xclib. Personally, I find this creation process easier to handle
than the normal one.

You can download xclib (about 12KB) from this place:

http://www.dojoe.de/download/xclib-0.8.tar.gz

For details about xclib please see the included readme file. If anyone
finds this program to be useful or to be lacking an all important feature,
I would really love to hear about it. Oh, and Tim: if you wish to imclude
xclib into the standard XCircuit distribution, don't hesitate ;)

See ya,
  Joachim
