[Xcircuit-dev] How to flatten a symbol?

Hi,
When building own libraries it is very often convenient to use already defined
symbols from other libraries in the symbol itself. My experience with this is
that when I write that new symbol to a separate library then the symbols that
I have used from other libraries are also stored separately. When looking
into the file each included symbol is stored separately and also shows up in
the library view. If the element is taken from the avlsi library, this
behaviour is masked until I disable the automatic load of the four basic
libraries. Then they show up in my custom library also.
Is there a way to make a symbol self-contained and flat so that all geometric
structures are stored within the new symbol and flattened?
